In 2022, The Los Angeles Sigmas relaunched its chapter of The Sigma Beta Club, the mentorship arm of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Since then, the chapter has grown from four young men to nearly twenty young men from the ages of 8 to eighteen. The Sigma Beta Club prides itself on supporting the next generation of leaders. One of those leaders, Elijah Henderson, joined the Los Angeles Sigma Beta Club in 2023.

A student-athlete, Elijah plays offensive tackle for Serra Highschool. Standing at 6’5, Elijah received offers from Fresno State, Nevada, San Diego, State, and Morgan State just to name a few. In June, he has committed to take his talent to Hawaii where he will play for the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.

Elijah navigated injury and school transfers in order to remain focused on his goals. Our Sigma Beta Club and advisors are excited to watch Elijah grow at the next level.
