Omarion Vivrette

Bro. Omarion Vivrette is an undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Architecture Program at USC with a passion for photography and graphic design.
Recognized as Phi Beta Sigma Collegiate Brother of the Year and International President’s Rising Star in 2024, Bro. Omarion also holds leadership positions on campus with the Black Student Assembly (BSA), Common Ground, and Black Greek Life (ФВΣ).

Bro. Lawrence Herbert is an undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Architecture Program at USC and pursuing an interest in animation.
Outside of his studies, Bro. Lawrence enjoys going to the gym and playing video games in his spare time

Dr. Theo Fowles
CHAPTER ADVISOR | ACE CLUB | SPR. 03
Bro. Dr. Theo Fowles is a two-time USC Trojan, graduating with his undergraduate degree in film and his doctoral degree in Education.
Named a Phi Beta Sigma Collegiate Advisor of the Year in 2024, Bro. Dr. Fowles is also a past Assistant Director of CBCSA, past advisor for Brothers Breaking B.R.E.A.D., and the Black Graduate Student Network on campus.

History In The Making
Phi Beta Sigma’s lineage at USC began in 1946 with the chartering of the Alpha Upsilon Chapter. Although Alpha Upsilon’s charter location is USC (and now currently is located at CSUDH), the chapter functioned as a city-wide entity recruiting and initiating Brothers throughout Southern California schools, such as UCLA, Cal State Long Beach, and University of Redlands.
In 1981, five USC students and members of the Alpha Upsilon Chapter decided to establish a chapter to focus specifically on USC’s campus and on April 24, 1981, the Nu Upsilon chapter was chartered.
The Brothers of the Nu Upsilon Chapter have served and been recognized at the highest Regional and International Levels of fraternity leadership.
